The origins of Feng Shui are lost in antiquity. One thinks that it began to be developed more than 6000 years ago, being based on a belief very rooted in China ... our atmosphere models our lives!
Feng Shui is a science-art that teaches to us, among other things, redistributing the furniture in a room or determined places to create positive currents of energy and to harmonize the atmosphere, to coordinate the lights, plants and objects to obtain an ideal balance. Since according to the Chinese philosophy in a harmonized atmosphere there is physical health, mental health and spiritual health.
Basically Feng Shui takes care to also take advantage of maximum flow of universal energy or current Chi - call ki, prana, or cosmic force, among other names. For a connoisseur of the Feng Shui it is essential to create the harmonization in all the spaces where we live, we work or we play.
The word Feng Shui means in Chinese wind and water since to apply to this art the experts always use natural symbols. For example, when the water of a river freely flows to a suitable temperature, without obstacles or dirt, we can use it to drink and calm the thirst, but if the temperature descends it congeals and it forms ice blocks and when it is warmed up too much becomes steam and disappears... then is not used for anything and if it stagnates no longer can it be drunk. The same happens with the universal energy Chi, when it flows nourishes, but if it is unbalanced it harms us greatly. If it remains suspended or it moves too slowly it robs vitality and we can become ill... if on the contrary it advances very fast, it creates nervousness and preoccupations and it prevents the correct concentration and thought.
You know how a simple movement of furniture, a plant in a bad place, or a mirror badly located can obstruct your business, causing stress and problems of health and economic losses.
Then, according to the connoisseurs of the Feng Shui the way in which we integrate ourselves to the atmosphere is the key of success or the reason of a failure. When the form is known in which the universal energy circulates we can use it to our favour, if we ignore it we are exposed constantly.
A window in front of the door disperses chi... prevents that it is concentrated in a place which prevents thinking... the Feng Shui teaches to us what we must do in these cases.
