¿What is Reiki?

Reiki is a method of natural healing based on the application of Universal Life Force Energy, developed at the beginning of century XX in Japan. The Reiki word is a combination of two Japanese words: Rei and Ki.
Rei meaning the Universal Energy; Ki means the energy of the life.

A treatment of Reiki is a simple but powerful process. The professional of Reiki canalizes the energy to the patient who can be directed to a place or specific problem of the body.

The energies also go to where the body needs it, always for the best well-being of the patient. It is important to emphasize that these healing energies not only go to the source of the problem, but to the symptoms as well. Depending on the nature of the problem the results of a treatment of Reiki can be noticed when finalizing the session or several sessions will be necessary.

The treatments of Reiki does not have negative indirect effects, it is a natural and completely safe way to treat a disease. Reiki can be used on the patient even though medication is being used; it does not have incompatibilities and it reduces the possible negative indirect effect of conventional medicine.

We can all learn to work with the energy of the Reiki. Any capacity or special ability is not required to be able to canalize these healing energies.

After a course of Reiki, the student already is prepared to work with these energies; once acquired this capacity always remains.

The course of Reiki is divided in three levels in which one learns the evolution of the Reiki and its uses. In addition, in each level there is an initiation, in which the body is prepared to work with a superior level of energy.
